MiraBay Accountability – Petitions & Evidence
MiraBay Accountability
Because Supervisor Nargi was a no-show, Supervisor Rodriguez is permanently absent, and Supervisor Steve Finley pre-arranged not to attend, the Board could not meet quorum. Result: no State-mandated Budget, no Audit, and no action on critical issues (roof, management, investigation).

Supervisor Tim Nargi

On August 22, 2025, residents filed twelve (12) formal ethics complaints with the State of Florida. Because these are now under official review, we cannot provide further comment other than to confirm they have been filed.

At the most recent scheduled CDD meeting, Supervisor Nargi was a no-show. Combined with Supervisor Rodriguez’s permanent absence in Hawaii and Supervisor Steve Finley’s pre-arranged absence, quorum was not met. As a result, the District was unable to pass the State-mandated Budget, complete the Audit, or address major issues including the roof, management changes, and the ongoing investigation.

Supervisor Mike Rodriguez

Supervisor Rodriguez no longer resides in MiraBay. He now works as a receptionist for the Department of Defense as a private civilian employee. This is not a military posting or deployment.

His permanent absence leaves the community without representation, prevents quorum, and blocks essential business. His unwillingness to step aside shows clear disdain for residents. Like Tim, his selfish and narcissistic behavior has directly harmed the community by ensuring that urgent issues — budget, audit, roof, management, and investigation — could not be addressed.

Why Petitions? Why Now?

Florida law does not provide a recall election for CDD Supervisors, so there’s no direct mid-term removal mechanism. Our petitions document the community’s loss of confidence and request voluntary resignation.

With 12 ethics complaints filed on August 22, 2025 and quorum failures preventing the District from performing State-mandated duties, residents are demanding accountability and a new path forward.
