Petitions for Resignation & Public Evidence
Florida law doesn’t provide a recall election for CDD Supervisors. We’re using petitions to document loss of confidence, filing detailed ethics complaints the week of August 15, and demanding a full independent investigation into any possible criminal misconduct by GMS employees or any Board Supervisor.

Why We’re Calling for the Resignation of Supervisor Tim Nargi
This is about ethics, accountability, and protecting your tax dollars — not politics.
1) Conflict of Interest
- Knowingly supported contracts for Best Price Roofing (BPR) and Right Way Restoration—both represented by resident Jared Yandle—without disclosing his relationship with Mr. Yandle.
- Pushed for his licensed public adjuster son, Bryce Nargi, to be hired by GMS to initiate the related insurance claim.
- Christine Nargi requested the district’s insurance policy before bids were received.
- Supervisor Nargi voted twice to approve a $259,000 BPR contract without disclosing these conflicts.
2) Retaliation Against Oversight
- In the absence of the chair—and one week after legal counsel notified the Board of contracting irregularities—Supervisor Nargi initiated and carried a motion, without public notice or comment, to begin an RFP process to remove and replace both the District’s legal counsel and GMS as District manager.
- After these actions, the District’s attorney resigned citing a hostile environment; the management company also resigned, citing an inability to work with Supervisor Nargi.
3) Breach of Fiduciary Duty
- Backed a $259,000 roofing contract—$70k–$100k above competing bids—using non-coastal-rated, non-warrantied materials.
- Withheld knowledge of cheaper bids and warranty issues from the board and residents.
